About Us

We are a home-based cake design business based in Thorpe Hesley, Rotherham.  We bake a range of bespoke celebration cakes and cake toppers, to suit all occasions and all our cakes are made fresh to order.

 

Enquiries

We are happy to talk to you about your ideas and our services over the phone, but we will not provide price quotations without detailed information, in which case we will ask you to complete an enquiry form available on website.

 

What Flavour Cakes And Fillings Do You Offer?

 

Standard Flavours and Fillings

Cake Flavours:

  • Plain madeira

  • Vanilla madeira

  • Lemon madeira

  • Chocolate marble

Premium Flavours (additional cost):

  • Red velvet

  • Chocolate

 

Cake Fillings:

  • Raspberry jam

  • Raspberry jam  + vanilla buttercream

  • Vanilla buttercream

  • Lemon buttercream

Premium Fillings (additional cost):

  • Dark chocolate ganache

  • Milk chocolate ganache

  • White chocolate ganache

All cakes come boxed and finished on a fondant decorated drum, with colour matched ribbon trim as standard. A celebration message is optional at no extra cost and should be requested at the time of placing your order.

 

Standard Cakes Sizes?

We offer a range of sizes to suit individual needs ranging from 6” to 12” in size. All cakes are approximately 3" deep.

 

Do You Make Sculpted Cakes?

Yes, using madeira cake, as lighter sponges are not suitable for sculpting. Sculpted cakes will be considerably more expensive than standard cakes due to the planning, sculpting and decorating time involved. Sculpted cakes do not yield the same servings of standard cakes, so please think carefully before placing an order.

 

Do You Make Fondant Cake Toppers?

Handmade cake toppers are available to order, but we normally ask for 3-4 weeks notice for orders, particularly if you require more than one topper. Toppers will be priced individually, according to size and complexity of design.

 

Can I Just Order A Cake Topper?

Yes, but we advise early booking to avoid disappointment. Cake toppers must be paid for in full at the time of order and must be collected.

 

Do You Make Cupcakes?

We specialise in designing and creating celebration cakes and hand-made cake toppers, but do offer a small range of flavoured cupcakes that can be decorated to suit individual requirements.

 

Do You Provide Wedding Cake Consultations?

Unfortunately, we do not offer a wedding consultation service at the present time. We intend to develop a small selection of ‘simple’ wedding cakes that will be made using the same quality ingredients, so will be a more affordable option than a fully bespoke service.
