  • Nuts

We do not include nuts in any of our recipes, but cannot guarantee our products are completely nut free as we bake in our domestic kitchen.

  • Non-edible Items

Some of our cakes may contain non-edible items such as support dowels, ribbon and wires. We will provide written information about such items on collection of your cake. It is your responsibility to remove these items prior to consumption.

  • Fondant Cake Toppers

Our cake toppers are hand-crafted from fondant and added tylose powder, which helps to harden and set the fondant. As such, cake toppers are designed for decoration only and not for consumption.

Allergy information will be provided on collection of all orders.

Collection

We do not offer a delivery service so all orders must be collected from our premises at our business address below.

On collection of your cake from our premises, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your cake.

Storage and Consumption

Best Before

Our cakes our freshly made using quality ingredients. For optimum freshness we advise consumption within 2 days of collection. Please note that we do not use additives and preservatives to prolong our cakes freshness, so they will not have the extended shelf-life of supermarket cakes.

Storage

Once cut, we advise that our cakes be wrapped securely in clingfilm or foil and kept in an airtight container. Fondant covered cakes should not be stored in the refrigerator as condensation will form on the icing and become sticky.

Complaints

Should you have any concerns regarding your cake, it should be brought to our attention on the day of collection, or the following day at the latest, if the issue is not apparent until cutting the cake.

All our cakes are handmade and due to the nature of the baking process and materials used, minor imperfections may be visible in the final product. We will not issue refunds for reasons such as slight deviations, imperfections or personal taste dislikes.

Any requests for refunds will be made entirely at our discretion, and will be limited to the value of the cake order only.

Data Protection

Whilst we will never pass on personal customer details to third parties, we are required to retain customer  order information for accounting and tax purposes.
